A wellness experience built around
heat, cold and rest
At Oasis Saunas, every visit is designed to be more than just time in a sauna. It is a full wellness experience that brings together traditional Finnish heat, gentler infrared warmth, bio sauna humidity, cold plunge therapy and space to rest in between. Whether you are visiting to relax, recover, improve your wellbeing or simply take a proper pause, Oasis gives you the freedom to move through each stage at your own pace and enjoy the balance of heat, cold and calm in one carefully designed setting.

Traditional Finnish Sauna
Our Finnish sauna is based on the traditional Nordic approach, using high temperatures and low humidity to create a deep, dry heat. Typically ranging from 70 to 100°C with humidity between 5 and 20%, it offers a more intense and invigorating sauna experience that many people associate with classic sauna culture.
This style of sauna is ideal for those looking for a stronger heat experience and a full body sense of release. It can help support circulation, relaxation and recovery, while also giving that unmistakable feeling of stepping out refreshed and reset. For most guests, we would recommend two to three rounds with a maximum of around 20 minutes in each session, depending on individual comfort.
Infrared Sauna
The infrared sauna offers a gentler heat experience, usually operating between 45 and 65°C. Rather than heating the air in the same way as a traditional sauna, infrared technology works by warming the body more directly. This creates a more comfortable, steady heat that many guests find easier to tolerate while still feeling deeply restorative.
Infrared sauna use is often linked to benefits such as detoxification, improved circulation, pain relief, skin health and better sleep. It is a great option for those who want the benefits of heat therapy in a softer, more gradual way. As with the other sauna experiences, two to three rounds of up to 20 minutes is a sensible guide for most visitors.

Biosauna
The biosauna sits somewhere between the intensity of a Finnish sauna and the gentler comfort of a steamier, more relaxed heat experience. Running at around 50 to 70°C with higher humidity levels of 60 to 70%, it creates a softer atmosphere that feels calming, accessible and easy to enjoy.
Often combined with aromatherapy, the biosauna adds a sensory element to the wellness experience and is ideal for those who prefer a less intense heat or want a more soothing introduction to sauna use. It still offers all the comfort of heat therapy, but in a way that feels milder and more balanced. As a guide, guests may enjoy two to three rounds with a maximum of 20 minutes in each.
Cold plunge, splash barrel and contrast therapy
An important part of the Oasis experience is the shift from heat into cold. After warming the body in the sauna, guests can cool down using the cold plunge tubs, overhead splash barrel, cold showers or other cooling features designed to support contrast therapy.
This change in temperature can help boost circulation, reduce muscle soreness, improve alertness and leave guests feeling refreshed after their session. The contrast between deep warmth and cooling phases is a key part of what makes the Oasis experience feel both calming and energising.

Cold plunge therapy and space to rest
An important part of the Oasis experience is the shift from heat into cold. After warming the body in the sauna, guests can cool down with a cold plunge, typically around 10 to 15°C, or through other cooling features designed to support contrast therapy.
This change in temperature can help boost circulation and vascular tone, reduce muscle inflammation and soreness, enhance mood through endorphin release, increase energy and alertness, and support the body’s natural adaptation to cold exposure. It is this contrast between deep warmth and refreshing cold that often leaves people feeling both calmer and more energised after their session.
Time to pause between each cycle
The Oasis experience is not meant to feel rushed. Alongside the sauna and cold therapy areas, guests can enjoy space to sit, rest and rehydrate between each round. This relaxation time is an important part of the overall visit, giving the body a chance to settle and helping the experience feel slower, calmer and more restorative.
Whether you choose to sit quietly, cool down gradually or simply enjoy a moment out of the heat, this part of the journey helps turn a sauna session into something far more complete and enjoyable.

What your sauna journey might look like
A session at Oasis Saunas is designed to feel simple and welcoming, whether it is your first visit or part of your regular routine. Many guests begin with time in one of the saunas, choosing between the deeper heat of the Finnish sauna, the gentler warmth of the infrared sauna or the softer, more humid feel of the biosauna.
After the heat, guests can move into a cooling stage through cold plunge or other contrast therapy features before taking time to rest and rehydrate in the relaxation area. Some may then repeat the cycle two or three times, depending on how they feel. The experience is flexible, allowing each person to enjoy heat, cold and rest in a way that suits their own pace and comfort.
Why people make sauna part of their routine
Regular sauna use can support both physical and mental wellbeing in a number of ways. It is commonly linked to improved circulation, support for heart health, pain relief, muscle recovery, skin health, better sleep and reduced stress. When cold therapy is added into the experience, it can also help with alertness, recovery and post-exercise soreness.
Oasis also draws inspiration from traditional wellness methods such as the Kneipp approach, which uses alternating warm and cold temperatures to awaken circulation and energise the body. This kind of contrast therapy has been associated with stronger immune function, reduced fatigue, better circulation, particularly in the legs and feet, and a greater sense of relaxation overall.
